Coworker asked for my help finding him a decent laptop for his daily work. Find the right laptop for your own can be very confusing for sometime especially when you’re on limited budget, in my case finding a decent 13-inch laptop prices under $500. Price also sometimes describes the specification, certainly there are no laptops with core i7 processor under $500 unless it’s a second hand laptop. High specs doesn’t always mean the right one for us, it’s depend what for we’re working on with the laptop. When you’re designing 3D animation or playing a 3D game then higher specification is required otherwise if you only use an office application, doing a lot of documents printing, low graphic presentations, working with emails than you don’t really need a higher specification.

My friend is a lecture, he need it for presentations, working with documents and spend a lot of times on social networking. I told to him to buy a tablet for lower price gadget and show him the comparison between tablet and laptop but he insists on laptop. It is very hard to find a 13-inch laptop at a price bellow $500, but luckily we’ve found some:

Dell Inspiron i13z-3181sLV 13-Inch
